I’ve just signed up for my second pop up tour with Jodi! The first one was fun and informative. It’s a great opportunity to get to know what’s out there in the community and also to meet some ‘neighbours’ too. Jodi was a great guide and makes you feel comfortable from the start! A wonderful idea for a casual outing!– AM
I had a fantastic time on a recent pop-up tour in the Junction neighbourhood. We sampled an amazing ‘urban’ high tea at Humble Beginnings, had a lesson on dressing for your body type at Natureal and finished the tour off at Latitude 44 Gallery learning a few tricks about framing artwork. It’s definitely a fun night out and a great way to check out spots in the ‘hood that you might not have ‘popped’ into yet. – Judy McKinnon
I enjoyed the Health Beauty and Wellness tour in the Village. I found out about some interesting local businesses and came away with some cool samples! A coupon for a free Yoga class, bath salts, healthy / yummy treats. Everything was well organized and went off like clockwork. I’m looking forward to the Tasting popups coming soon! – Catherine
Pop up tours are a unique way to get to know your local businesses, sample their product or service and have an enjoyable evening with friends or make new friends! I was fortunate to attend Good Taste at Runnymede and Annette and experience Butcher by Nature’s food and history, learns some tips for decorating at A Changing Nest (have you seen the beauty inside this shop?) and enjoy some Ontario cheese and vino at Creme Fraiche while chatting about local food and the new Farmer’s Market, Wednesdays across Annette at the Presbyterian church parking lot. The tour was excellently run and I’ll be back! – Laurie
What a fun night out on the Bloor West Village Tasting Tour! With restaurants and cafes coming and going in BWV I’d lost track of how much good food there is to be had in our neighbourhood. The tasting was amazing, and I really enjoyed hearing the behind-the-scenes stories. I will definitely be back to Baka, Zaza, and Bloom and look forward to joining another of your tours sometime this summer. Great way to meet new people too! – Joanne O.
